Monday, 5/19

5/19/2013: After Cliff Lee got picked off, Erik Kratz and Freddy Galvis went back-to-back in the ninth inning to walk things off for the Phillies.
Tuesday, 5/20
5/20/1999: Robin Ventura became the first MLB player to slug a grand slam in both ends of a doubleheader.
5/20/2000: In his first at-bat as a member of the Mariners, Rickey Henderson left the building. Because of course he did.
5/20/2006: After going 29 at-bats without a home run, Barry Bonds hit one out to tie Babe Ruth on the all-time list at 714.
Wednesday, 5/21
5/21/2015: Madison Bumgarner stepped to the plate to face Clayton Kershaw. He emerged victorious by taking him deep.
5/21/2005: CC Sabathia helped his own cause by slugging his first career MLB home run.
5/21/2013: A 21-year-old Mike Trout hit for the cycle, becoming the sixth Angels player to accomplish the feat.
Thursday, 5/22
5/22/2022: Joey Votto gave the Reds a late lead with this go-ahead home run. This blast would hold up as the game-winner.
5/22/1998: Mark McGwire became the first player to launch a ball to Big Mac Land at Busch Stadium, which was named after him for all the obvious reasons.
5/22/2009: Michael Cuddyer registered his first career cycle at the Metrodome for the Twins.
Friday, 5/23
5/23/2002: Shawn Green had a ridiculous game in Milwaukee, going 6-for-6 with a single, double, and four home runs.
5/23/2009: Geoff Blum clubbed this two-run homer for the Astros. He’d finish the year with 10 dingers and 49 RBI for Houston in 427 plate appearances.
5/23/2009: Fred Lewis hit this homer for the Giants. He hit 27 total dingers over parts of seven MLB seasons.
Saturday, 5/24
5/24/2006: Swinging on the first pitch he saw in his first MLB at-bat, Adam Wainwright went yard for the Cardinals.
5/24/2009: Justin Morneau broke the game open for the Twins vs. the Brewers with this grand slam.
5/24/2018: Eugenio Suarez got the Reds on the board by slugging this grand slam against the Pirates.
Sunday, 5/25
5/25/1970: Tony Conigliaro helped the Red Sox secure a victory at Fenway Park with this two-homer performance.
5/25/2013: Angel Pagan walked things off for the Giants in the most dramatic way possible – by hitting an inside-the-park homer.
5/25/2024: Starling Marte got the Mets on the board against the Giants with this solo home run.
