48 single-season performances have surpassed the 50-homer plateau in MLB history. The feat has been achieved by 31 different players. You hear about most of them often. Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Babe Ruth, David Ortiz, and more.
But these sluggers only represent less than 0.5% of total players in MLB history. While they deserve plenty of shine, there are lots of other impressive single-season performances that should be honored. This book provides some much-deserved spotlight. Buy your copy on Amazon today.
