Monday, 7/7
7/7/2006: Dontrelle Willis went deep at Shea Stadium for his first grand slam. He finished his career with nine dingers in 447 plate appearances.
7/7/1996: Mo Vaughn finished his swing in the right-handed batter’s box, and the ball finished its journey on Eutaw Street at Camden Yards.
7/7/1998: Barry Bonds showed off some impeccable aim at the 1998 All-Star Game. He sent a Bartolo Colon pitch into the upper deck, hitting the Giants sign in the process.
Tuesday, 7/8
7/8/2000: Moises Alou ripped this ball to the Crawford Boxes in Houston. That baby got over the wall in about 0.2 seconds.
7/8/1997: Javy Lopez tied up the All-Star Game with this seventh-inning home run.
7/8/1997: Sandy Alomar Jr. took home All-Star Game MVP honors thanks to this clutch home run that eventually gave the AL All-Stars a win.
Wednesday, 7/9
7/9/2011: As part of a 5-for-5 day at the dish, Derek Jeter launched a home run for his 3,000th career hit.
7/9/1996: Mike Piazza hit an RBI double and this moonshot to help the National League win the All-Star Game. Piazza was also named MVP.
7/9/1991: Andre Dawson took Roger Clemens deep to center field for this home run. He finished the year with 31 homers and 104 RBI.
Thursday, 7/10
7/10/2007: Thanks to a weird bounce off the outfield wall in San Francisco, Ichiro Suzuki recorded an inside-the-park home run at the All-Star Game.
7/10/2017: Aaron Judge added to an already impressive rookie season by winning the Home Run Derby. Here’s a peek at some of his destruction.
7/10/2001: Cal Ripken Jr. celebrated his final All-Star Game appearance by hitting a home run and winning MVP honors.
Friday, 7/11
7/11/1989: As Vin Scully so eloquently narrated, Bo Jackson said hello at the All-Star Game with this tater.
7/11/1994: Frank Thomas sent this ball into the upper deck at Three Rivers Stadium during the Home Run Derby.
7/11/1995: Jeff Conine went deep to celebrate his first career at-bat in the midsummer classic.
Saturday, 7/12
7/12/1993: Ken Griffey Jr. put on a show during the Home Run Derby in Baltimore. He launched this ball off the warehouse… on the fly!
7/12/2021: Juan Soto launched this 520-foot moonshot during the Home Run Derby at Coors Field.
7/12/2021: Pete Alonso beat out Trey Mancini to repeat as Home Run Derby champion.
Sunday, 7/13
7/13/1971: Reggie Jackson launched a ball off the transformer during the All-Star Game at Tiger Stadium.
7/13/2014: Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner became the first batterymates in MLB history to both hit a grand slam in the same game.
7/13/1971: Roberto Clemente slugged this long solo home run for the National League during the All-Star Game.
